I have 40+ years experience as a consultant, business owner and computer programmer. This is important because:
The core competency of a technical expert is to arrive at a sensible conclusion - and serve as a guide for others.
I spent about 15 years delivering a series of projects at Exxon (my Fortune 1 years) serving a variety of needs. I wrote a direct mail marketing application that functioned without changes for a series of businesses over 25 years. I was co-author, with my original partner, of the successful PROTOS product, a high-level programming language for the HP3000. I wrote custom applications for clients in industrial distribution, coupon redemption, laboratory testing, and semiconductor manufacturing. I even had software that I developed as a student used in sonar research for over a decade.
As a software consultant and developer, I delivered commercial-quality programs to customers and clients in a total of more than 30 different programming languages based on about as many platform combinations of operating systems and databases.
The roster below is a partial listing of the types of businesses and industries I have experience as a litigation consultant or software developer.
I have run businesses, and I have seen the insides of many others. Both as software developer and as an expert in litigation, I have been responsible for translating between the real world and software implementations. Good software developers, consultants, and experts don't start out knowing all the answers - but we know how to find them and explain the results.
And don't forget the icing on the cake: Rebuttal Reports a Specialty
My 20+ years experience as a testifying expert makes me very efficient in taking on new assignments.
Request a CV, recommendations from previous clients, a draft engagement agreement, or other available materials via email.
As my email address indicates, I have been "in the business" for quite some time.
New experts need more than "Just answer the question asked" to get them going.
I've been there. I know how to orient a technical person to operate in the peculiar world of litigation.
The experience of two decades as a testifying expert makes me very efficient in taking on new assignments. One good way of determining whether I can assist with your case is to request a CV, recommendations from previous clients, a draft engagement agreement, or other available materials.
